The Icicle Creek Chamber Players

The Icicle Creek Chamber Players

Welcome to the Icicle Creek Chamber Players page!

Led by Artistic Director and pianist Oksana Ezhokina, The Icicle Creek Chamber Players mark the beginning of a new hallmark program that expands on Icicle Creek’s broader season of educational experiences, music, theater, literary arts, film and dance. Through the Chamber Players, Icicle Creek has found an innovative way to continue to nurture “the music of friends,” by providing meaningful organizational and artistic support for a number of wonderful musicians while offering regional and destination audiences a dynamic program of classical music throughout the year.

BIG WORKS BIG IDEAS

A note from the Artistic Director:

Icicle Creek Center for the Arts is proud to present the new season of Icicle Creek Chamber Players. This season we would like to celebrate you, the audience, by bringing you even closer to the heart of the creative experience through conversation and discussion. If you have ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of preparing a concert, or how artistic decisions are made in rehearsals, or how these trail-blazing works came to be, come and find out. I am so looking forward to seeing you soon and make sure to bring a friend or two with you!

Yours,

Oksana Ezhokina

Each of the four concerts of the new season will be a three-part affair.

Part I: Great works of chamber music performed by the world-class artists.

Part II: Intermission = wine

Part III: Conversation between artists and audience led by the erudite and dynamic classical music spokesman, Timothy Christie (a familiar face to those of you who heard him perform in the 2012-13 Icicle Creek Chamber Players season).
