Description:  Located in one of Washington's most beautiful natural settings, the Icicle Creek Music Center's Adult Chamber Music Retreat is a four day program designed for adult amateur string players and pianists who would like to expand their chamber music experience, hone their ensemble skills, and interact with fellow musicians in a supportive, friendly, nature-inspired setting.  Whether you are already a chamber music enthusiast or a player who is new to this genre, this program will provide learning and performing opportunities and a chance to share musical experiences with like minded individuals.

Daily Schedule:  Daily schedules will include coaching sessions with members of the Icicle Creek Piano Trio, ensemble rehearsal time, social hour, casual evening sight-reading sessions, and planned outings (e.g. activities in the town of Leavenworth, wine tasting, etc.) and/or free time.  Participants would be expected to arrive at ICMC by 1 p.m. on Friday, October 29.  Friday evening will feature a public Faculty Concert, and the program will end on Monday afternoon with an informal Participants Concert to which friends and family members are welcome!

Housing and Meals:  Shared housing is provided in ICMC's fully equipped cabins.  Dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday-Monday will be catered.  Information sheets on dinner options in town will be provided on arrival.  If you prefer more private/family friendly accommodations, there are many local B&Bs, motels, and hotels in the Leavenworth area.

Fees:  Total fee per participant is $450 ($250 tuition fee, $200 room and board, 1 ticket to Faculty Concert included).  Please note dinners (except Friday) are not included.  Those opting to stay off campus may pay for tuition only.   A $200 deposit is due upon notification of acceptance, and the remaining balance is due on arrival at ICMC.
