Thank you to all for a truly fantastic 2010 Icicle Creek International Chamber Music Festival!
If you didn't visit us in July 2010, here's what you missed! Welcome to the Icicle Creek Music Center's 17th International Chamber Music Festival filled with exciting musical experiences and enjoyment of the breathtaking beauty of the Cascade mountains! The Festival season celebrates the music of 20th and 21st century composers as well as the classical masters of the past. We invite you to explore the fascinating sounds of Kurtag, Schoenfield, and Herbolsheimer and the romance of Rachmaninov, Chopin, and Schubert, as well as the soul and passion of jazz and the tango. The music you will hear this season performed live by world class international artists, spans more than four centuries of music from Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms to the living composers of today. Leading international guest artists join the acclaimed Icicle Creek Piano Trio to perform the finest chamber works in an acoustically beautiful setting. We invite you to experience being seated just feet away from the artists, and enjoy the thrill of hearing live music in a refreshingly intimate space; no barriers, no artifice, this is the real thing! Advance ticket for all Festival concerts are only available at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/producer/20696 or by calling Brown Paper Ticket's 24/7 toll-free hotline at 1-800-838-3006.
