Partners Working Together
Icicle Creek Music Center works in partnership with a broad spectrum of organizations in North Central Washington, including businesses and individuals who provide financial and in-kind support to provide and produce high quality musical programming and education.
Thanks to our valued associates:
- KOHO Radio, 101.1 FM — Icicle Creek Music Center supports KOHO Radio and its classical music program, Sunday Morning Classics, hosted by Lisa Bergman from 7AM-10AM each Sunday. KOHO Radio offers the communities of North Central Washington a blend of news, jazz and classical programming unlikely to be heard anywhere else. Listen for interviews with Icicle Creek artists and guests.
Tune in 101.1 FM for Sunday Morning Classics or www.kohoradio.com to hear live broadcast of the KOHO signal over the Internet.
- Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort — Icicle Creek Music Center stages many of its concerts and some of its educational programming at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort, a conference facility that showcases the Northwest's natural beauty. Sleeping Lady's mission is to provide a year-round retreat where nature, performing arts, outdoor recreation, and healthful dining "inspire reverence for Earth's life-giving wellspring." With meeting spaces connected by woodland paths and quiet places for reflection along a mountain-fed river, Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat is uniquely conducive to community and creativity.
Icicle Creek's founders first met with Harriet Bullitt, Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort's founder, in 1993 when both organizations were still on the drawing boards. Together they formed a vision for how the Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat setting and performance spaces would complement Icicle Creek's artistic mission, and how the performing arts would enhance the conference experience at Sleeping Lady Mountain Retreat.
Icicle Creek's annual Chamber Music Festival takes place in Sleeping Lady Chapel Theater, a picturesque setting for the intimate chamber concerts. Other concerts are performed on the outdoor stage overlooking the Icicle River, or on the Meadow outdoor stage on the music center campus. Icicle Creek supports Sleeping Lady's commitment to the arts by administering the Sleeping Lady Performance Series, diverse performances from Celtic music to Bluegrass to Flamenco.

- Woods House Conservatory — A collaboration to provide high quality music education to the Wenatchee Valley, and to Central Washington University for collaborating to enhance music education at the college level.
Founded in 1997, Woods House Conservatory is the result of collaboration among teachers, musicians and arts supporters to offer music education and concerts in an intimate, inviting space. The Woods House Conservatory of Music is dedicated to the belief that music is an indispensable part of a healthy community.
Woods House Conservatory is located in the historic home of publishing pioneer Rufus Woods, donated for this purpose by his heirs. The airy house was remodeled for instruction space, and the old garage was converted into the WoodShed (referring both to the musical term for intensive practice and the Woods family name), a performance area with cedar walls, marbled concrete floors and room to seat more than 90 people in air-conditioned comfort.
Woods House Conservatory offers lessons in voice and a diverse number of instruments from guitar to trombone. Icicle Creek Music Center and the Conservatory work together to advance music education in the Wenatchee Valley.
