The 2014 Vox Docs film festival will be held on Friday night March 7th and all day long on Saturday, March 8th. Each of the award-winning documentary screenings will take place in Icicle Creek's beautiful new theater facility, the Snowy Owl. This weekend documentary festival showcases the top "best of festival" documentaries from across the globe.

About Vox Docs

The 2014 Vox Docs film festival is produced by the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts and will be held on March 7th and 8th in the stunning new Snowy Owl Theater. This weekend documentary festival showcases the best documentaries of the year and titles that have been sweeping “best of festival” awards around the globe.

Ticket proceeds are donated to local area non-profit organizations. Recent recipient organizations include: the Initiative for Rural Innovation and Stewardship (IRIS), Chelan-Douglas Land Trust, the Cascade School District Educational Foundation, the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club and the Icicle Creek Youth Symphony. In addition to a weekend of award winning film at the Snowy Owl, festival educational activities also include taking documentaries on the road to be played in local area classrooms as well as professional development workshops for teachers focused on integrating filmmaking and digital storytelling into classroom instruction.
