Icicle Creek provides special recognition for those who have provided for the Icicle Creek Music Center in their estate plans. Your will or living trust can be used to transfer a specific dollar amount or property, a percentage of your estate, or the residuum to Icicle Creek. Icicle Creek can also be a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. It is recommended that you consult with an attorney or estate planner as you finalize your estate plans.

Bequests
A bequest may be particularly attractive as a gift option to contribute to Icicle Creek Music Center in a meaningful way. Bequests may be restricted or unrestricted.

Charitable Remainder Trust
When you create a Charitable Remainder Trust, some of your property or assets are transferred to the trust, which then makes payments to you and/or your beneficiaries for life or a specified term of up to 20 years. After the terms of the trust are fulfilled, the beneficiary - in this case Icicle Creek Music Center - receives the trust's assets. This approach can help you achieve both income and estate planning needs, provides tax reduction benefits during your lifetime, and can generate a guaranteed income stream over the term of the trust.

Charitable Lead Trust
When you create a Charitable Lead Trust, your property or assets are transferred to the trust, which makes payments to Icicle Creek Music Center for a certain period of time. At the end of the term of the trust the principal returns to you or is distributed to your heirs. This allows you to transfer assets to heirs or other recipients at with considerable gift and estate tax savings. For some individuals it provides tax benefits during their lifetime.
